Muskan pov:

"Y-yes Muskan ji your like my daughter i watch you growth your like my daughter Muskan I help you" auntie pat my shoulder I feel last hope

"T-thank you"

I hug her, crying in her shoulder,i feel so much happy and hoping that I finally escape after 2 year

"Now stop crying beta" she wipe my tears genly she stand and leave then come back with some clothes she give it to me

"Wear this quickly it's my daughter clothes no one can recognize you" She pat my shoulder

I nod, I go to bathroom and change the clothes

After changing I open bathroom door

I hug aunty crying sobbing

I couldn't hold back anymore-I threw my arms around her and broke down in tears.

"Thank you. Thank you so much... You've helped me more than I can ever explain."

My voice trembled as I cried in her arms.

"I'll never forget what you did for me... not in this lifetime."

But she softly said,

"Don't think of it as a favor. It's the love of a mother for her daughter. Your mother was a good woman. She helped me a lot in my worst times. What I've done for you is nothing in front of her kindness."

She gently pulled back and looked at me with urgency.

"Now don't wait any longer Go get out of here The madam isn't home right now. You'll be able to leave easily"

I nodded, tears still streaming down my face.

"Yes.."

And slowly...I covered my face with a dupataa so no one can see my face, ready to step into the unknown.

I stepped out of the room my heart racing disguised it's my chance if Zmiya found me she kill me!. I slowly walked toward the house gate

Just as I about to leave about one of Zmiya maid saw me

"Wait who are you?" She called out, auspiciously, I froze, my feet stop moving. My breath caught she walked closer, staring at me "wait! aren't you Fatima daughter?the maid who used to come here sometime?" She asked, confused

I quickly nod, trying to calm my shaking voices

"Y-yes I am her daughter" I stammered, panicking "I just come to help ammi but she told me she doesn't need help here anyone and asked me to go home to help there. That's why I am leaving" my heart was pounding, I was scared she wouldn't believe me

She looked at me a moment longer then nodded slowly

"Alright go" she said

Without wasting a second, I hurried out of house, fast, faster then I ever thought I could move

Once I stepped outside. I gasped o could finally breath again

The cold air hit my face I took a deep breath. Trying to steady myself

I saw a taxi nearby without thinking I rushed over

I opened the door of texi

I quickly took a taxi from there...

I sat inside, my hands shaking, my heart racing. Even though I was finally out my fear wouldn't go away

It had been two whole years since I had stepped outside that house.

The taxi driver looked at me through the mirror and asked,

"Madam, where do you want to go?"

I didn't even know... I just whispered, panicking,

"Anywhere... just take me far away from here. Please, just drive."

He nodded.

"Alright," the driver said and started the car.

Author pov:

Meanwhile, back at the mansion...

A little while later, Zmiya returned.

The moment she found out muskan wasn't in the house

She lost it. Her face turned red with rage.

She screamed at all the servants, her voice thundering through the house,

"who did this?! Who helped her?! Tell me"

Everyone was trembling in fear.

Zmiya was roaring like a stormshe summoned all the guards.

She was furious, her anger boiling over.

She barked orders at the guards in rage,

"Go! That girl couldn't have gone far.

Go find her right now. I want her back here! Bring her to me!!"

Zmiya had been furiously yelling at the other maids, lashing out her frustration on everyone around her.

And just then, her son Arhum returned from London after completing his studies. As he stepped into the house and saw his mother fuming with rage, he asked, confused and concerned

"What's wrong, Mom? Why are you so angry?"

Zmiya's face softened slightly at the sight of him.

"Arhum, my son... you're back," she said, and her anger seemed to cool just a little.

She hugged him tightly.

All the servants, sensing the tension, quietly left to return to their duties.

Then Arhum looked at her seriously and asked,

"What happened, Mom? Why are you so mad? This seems serious..."

Zmiya gritted her teeth and replied,

"That girl... Muskan! She's the reason. I had planned everything. I thought once she turned 18, I would transfer all the property into both of our names then kill her and be done with it!"

"And tomorrow... she was going to turn 18!"

"But that girl she ran away today! I have no idea how! I don't know what we're going to do now!"

Arhum was stunned. His eyes flared with anger.

"Mom, how could you even think like this? This is all your fault!" he shouted.

Zmiya narrowed her eyes at him.

"What do you mean by that?"

He fired back,

"I mean you made her feel unsafe! You threatened her so much... that she had no choice but to run away! That's why she escaped! Otherwise, Muskan would've never dared to do such a thing!"

He paused, voice heavy with anger and frustration.

"And even if you did kill her... what would we have gotten from it? Nothing!"

"All the suspicion would've fallen on us. People would've believed we murdered her for the property. We would've been arrested, thrown in jail!"

"Her death wouldn't have benefited us in any way, Mom!"

Zmiya snapped, frustrated,

"Then what were we supposed to do?! We needed that property!"

But then Arhum's tone changed. He spoke coldly, logically:

"It was simple. You should've just arranged her marriage with me."

"If we had gotten married, the entire property would've been in our name. Everyone would've thought it was a normal family matter."

"People would've respected us. No one would have doubted us. And Muskan... she would've been under our full control."

"Her whole life would've been in our hands."

He clenched his fists.

"You ruined everything, Mom. There was such an easy way to get what we wanted. And you messed it all up."

Zmiya, still frustrated, said,

"Then what else could we do? We needed the property!"

Arhum's eyes burned with anger.

"Mom, it was such a simple plan! You just had to get her married to me. If that had happened, the entire property would've been in our name."

"People would've seen us as respectable. Muskan's entire life would be in the palm of our hand. Everything completely ours."

"But you... you ruined such a simple, easy way. You destroyed everything, Mom! "

Zmiya now looked regretful.

"Why didn't that idea ever come to my mind? It was the best idea of all. I'm so sorry, son... I made such a huge mistake..."

But Arhum's gaze had already hardened.

"No matter what now, Mom... I'm going to find that girl."

"I don't care if she hides underground or vanishes into the sky-no matter where she is... she will be mine. One way or another."

He stormed off, determined to find Muskan.

Arhum began searching for her. He had loved Muskan since childhood.

Back when Arhum's mother married Muskan's father, it was the first time Arhum ever saw her and since that day, he loved only her.

Six years ago, he had gone to London to study.

Now, back in the present, Muskan was in a taxi

Which had been driving non-stop since nightfall.

Suddenly, the taxi slowed down and came to a stop as a wedding procession passed by.

Muskan looked at the driver and asked,

"Uncle, what happened? Why did the car stop?"

The driver replied, "Beta, there's a wedding procession passing, and honestly, I've been driving since early morning. I'm exhausted. Where do you need to go? Please tell me quickly so I can drop you. I need to return home too my children must be waiting for me."

Muskan gave a small nod and replied softly "Okay, Uncle... please drop me off right here. I'll walk ahead myself."

She quietly got out of the taxi.

"Are beta paise?"

"Oh sorry" she apologize she gives money to uncle

"And!thank you uncle for help me" she smile

"It's okay beta" driver start car and leave

"Main ab Kya karun Kahan jaun!Ms. Zmiya ke gunde mujhe dhundte hi honge unhone mujhe dhund liya to main jaun to jaun Kahan na manzil hai na koi Rasta akaash bhi america main hai bhag to aayi us se dhund ne ke Liye par america jaungi kaise na passport hai na paisa ek hazar tha woh bhi driver uncle ko de diya" Tears streamed down her face as she shut her eyes tight, trying to block out the pain but it only hurt more

("What do I do now? Where do I go? Ms. Zmiya's goons must be searching for me already... If they find me, then where will I run? I have no destination, no path to follow. Even Akaash is in America I ran away just to find him but how will I go to America? I don't have a passpor not even money. I only had one thousand rupees, and I gave that to the driver uncle)

Spoiler:

I sat on the roadside, broken, lost. My tears wouldn't stop, and my heart felt like it would collapse from the weight of everything.

Suddenly, an aunty came to me.

"Okay beta, come with me to my house," she said softly.

"Siitting here like this on the street isn't safe. Come, we'll think later about how to find him."

But I shook my head. My voice trembled as I replied,

"No... I-I'm not going anywhere I'm fine here."

She looked at me with concern, gently touching my shoulder.

"Don't be scared. You're like a daughter to me. Come with me, child. Please."

Maybe it was her words. Maybe it was my desperation. Maybe I just needed someone...

I don't know why, but... I said yes
